Well, it is snowing again! Yay! Cept it’s dark so to late to go and play. Here are the rest of the snow fun photos after the first “real winter” snow

p.s. a typical Tully to write in the snow
Did a heart with a snow angel and the word “neige”(snow in french)
Ohh right I guess everyone might need to practice their french a little bit as I speak it 100% here. As soon as I leave my room it french everything. Challenging but wonderful at the very same time. It’s like I’m in a different country sometimes, yet I am always home in Canada.

I know what you mean. Working for the Francophone Affairs in BC is like having a foot in two parts of Canada. I never know when the phone rings, I open an email or I meet someone in the hallway if it’s going to be a French or English conversation. I think we should brag about our souplesse d’esprit et duality!

Salut Bow!
It was great to receive your blog posts yesterday. Sherbrooke sounds like an adventure, albeit a chilly one. You look and sound happy with all your new experiences, and friends from all over the world.
Great photographs too. I especially like the close-ups and contrasts between the wet snow and the black bare branches. You have a great eye for detail.
A la prochaine.

Bonjour, chere Bow! Or Buon GIorno, Bow (just to add a little Italian spice!)
What a thrill to hear from you and to see what your life is like dans la belle Sherbrooke. We loved the photographs. The one of you with your friend was especially beautiful…a shot of colour amidst all the silhouettes against the snow. You have a discerning eye — I love the rhythmic shots of undulating snow, or snow against the rigour of the concrete steps.
We’re delighted to see that you are settling in to life in Sherbrooke and that you get to go visit nearby relatives when you can. Are your classes interesting?
We wish we could just slip over to visit you…but even tho we’re not there in person know that we think of you A LOT and send all our love and many thanks for keeping us in the loop.
Great big hugs
Kath and Kit
